2019 is upon us and we couldn’t be more excited! It’s amazing how quickly the time goes by, but just like a fine wine, The Original is getting better with age. 2019 brings many new and exciting things, The Dinercade being one but, this year brings a huge milestone for us… our 10-year anniversary!
It’s hard to believe we have been in business for 10 years and when we look back, we have served over 1.5 million people… give or take a few thousand. Kind of makes our head spin, particularly when we think about all the dishes that have been washed, burgers that have been cooked, cocktails that have been served, amazing associates that have come and gone, and all the memories created for both our guests and our associates. Man, 1.5 million…
Most of us take advantage of the New Year by making resolutions; lose weight, eat healthier, be savvier with money, etc. This list can get very long, a bit overwhelming, and varies from person to person. We have decided that one resolution will be enough for us this year—in addition to opening The Dinercade (more to come next month)—our 2019 New Year’s resolution is all about service. No matter the industry or the city, we feel that genuine service-hospitality is a lost art, and we are laser focused to “wow” our guests through genuine hospitality. To hopefully set the bar a bit higher for our guests and the expectation they have for the service they receive. We have challenged ourselves to help make this world a better place through service, setting an expectation to the way we should be treated as consumers, and for the older generation, how we used to be treated.
Let’s take our eyes off our screens a bit more each day, engage in an actual conversation each day, and find one way to help make someone smile each day.
